Meet the Staff

Jim Jolly

Director, Leadership Programs

Jim Jolly is the Director of Leadership Programs coordinating the leadership curriculum, service learning opportunities, and study abroad programs.  He also teaches humanities and management courses at Lawrence Tech.
He earned his JD from the University of Detroit Mercy, and a BA in American Studies from Western Michigan University.  Before serving Lawrence Tech, he was a practicing attorney and served as a magistrate for the 16th District Court.  He enjoys running and spending time with his wife Katie and daughter Alexis.

Davey McConnell

Office Assistant

Davey received her Bachelor in Architecture degree in the College of Architecture and Design in December 2010. She has worked in the Office of Leadership Programs since August 2008 and witnessed its magnificient growth and impact on the university.  Davey assists the director and department with office functions, promotion and planning of the Leadership Program's events and programs, working with the Study Abroad Programs, and supervising the students who are members of AmeriCorps Service Scholars. She also enjoys attending the volunteer events the office hosts and giving back to the community.
