Delta Tau Sigma a local sorority at Lawrence Technological University in Southfield, MI. Founded in 1977, Delta Tau Sigma was the first sorority on campus and has been growing ever since. Delta Tau Sigma is a social sorority that offers bonds of friendship and sisterhood. Members have been actively involved in both Student Government and the Interfraternal Council. Delta Tau Sigma members are also involved in both social and academic organizations throughout campus. Delta Tau Sigma actively supports its philanthropies, Juvenile Diabetes and Leukemia.
Membership in Delta Tau Sigma provides the opportunity to form close and lasting friendships through shared experience. A balanced social program, which includes time for parties, relaxation, and bonding among friends, is maintained in our sorority.
Founded in 1917 at New York University Law School, Delta Phi Epsilon now includes more than 80 chapters and colonies across the U.S. and Canada, including five chapters in Michigan. Lawrence Tech’s Alpha Psi Chapter is the first international social sorority on campus and strives for excellence in sisterhood, scholarship, service, self-improvement, and social awareness. The sorority actively supports the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders (ANAD). Delta Phi Epsilon - Alpha Psi Chapter has opportunities for growth in leadership, organization, teamwork and interpersonal skills. The group’s strength comes from the creation of lifelong friendships. The sorority welcomes women who seek to enhance their college experiences.

Chi Omega Rho is a local sorority; its sole chapter is located on the LTU campus. Eight young women founded the sorority on September 28, 1978. "Purity in the bonds of sisterhood and the awakening of womanhood" is the basis for its ideals. Chi Omega Rho has slowly grown into one of the biggest Greek organizations on campus. All the girls believe in "quality, not quantity," and almost all of the O Rho's, also known as "the girls in green," are involved in such organizations as: American Institute of Architecture Students, Inter-Fraternal Council, Student Government, Society of Women Engineers, American Chemical Society, and Society for Technical Communications. Very close in academic, business and social goals, the ladies of Chi Omega Rho work together to achieve common academic goals, and have had one of the highest cumulative GPA's on campus. Chi Omega Rho business has been growing in the areas of alumni, fundraising, and charity events.

Founded in 1908 at Howard University, Alpha Kappa Alpha (AKA) is an international sisterhood of more than 125,000 college-trained women representing graduate and undergraduate chapters in 46 states, the Caribbean, Germany, England, and Africa. Pi Delta chapter of AKA was established at Lawrence Tech in 1990. The sorority emphasizes a service program within the community, as well as focusing on the intellectual and social aspects of college life. Its “Service to All Mankind” motto is the guiding principle for all of its program activities. Membership is open to women of all races, creeds, and colors who embrace high ethical and scholastic standards and are pursuing a full course of study leading to a degree at Lawrence Tech.
